Before I begin, I should start by saying AAAAAHHHH I HAVE REACHED 100 FOLLOWERS. Thank you to all my kind followers who have a regular read and leave me lovely comments. I fully appreciate it all and although most people are sick of me saying this, I will say it again. I am so proud I got here with nothing but my content. No giveaways, no follow for follow & no spamming! My way.
On with the post, on Tuesday I popped down to the John Bell & Croyden event. The lovely Catherine from Perfectly Polished sent me an invite and although I didn't have much time I made a short stop. I have never been to JB & C but was really impressed by all the brands it had on offer. For those that don't know they are pharmacists to Her Majesty the Queen and are London's oldest and largest pharmacy. Very la di da. Located just behind Debenhams, a few minutes away from Bond Street, it isn't very far from the rest of the shops.
The event celebrated the launch of 16 new brands which take a holistic approach to restoring and maintaining natural beauty. This isn't something I'm particularly versed in as I am more a make up girl but it was interesting to see the products on offer.
The 16 new brands include:
- Antonia Burrell
- Jan Marini
- This Works
- Gold Collagen
- Life Mel
- Inner Me
- Neo Cell
- together health drinks
I couldn't stay for long so didn't get to try much but I spoke to the lovely Nikki Cooper, founder of Inner Me who developed supplements after being diagnosed with MS. I have a Vitamin D deficiency myself so it was interesting to discuss how common it is and what each of her products are aimed for.
I also had a taste of Pure Gold Collagen which aims to counteract the ageing process by reaching the deeper layer of the skin. They claim to work from the inside to reactivate the formation of collagen. It tasted nice and peachy and as you can see below I have quite a few samples of it.
This isn't to do with the launch but I was impressed by how many brands were available at JB & C. I took a photo of the OPI stand and in terms of make up there was a clarins counter. There was also Caudalie, Vichy and the Jason hair care brand I have seen a few of my friends blog about.
Lastly, here is the bag I was given to take home with me.
Hope you found this post interesting and I have introduced you to a new beauty destination. Even if you're not near London you can visit the website at http://www.johnbellcroyden.co.uk/.
Till next time...Toodles! :)
