Introducing...The Origins Christmas Bauble!

Hi ladies

Today I'm going to be showing you a really cute recent release from Origins - A Christmas bauble! Up until recently, this bauble was only exclusive to Selfridges and what's more, you could only buy it in the London store, not online or anywhere else. As a result, I went on behalf of a few friends (who are scattered around the country) to buy a few. I don't have anything from the brand myself but I bought 4 sets, posted 7 baubles and kept one for myself.

How adorable and shiny is it? Now, I don't celebrate Christmas and therefore I don't have a tree but if you do, this would be a great addition to your decorations.

If you buy yourself a gift set, it comes in this adorable box with lots of springy paper bits to cushion it. The festive sleeve slides off to reveal a plain green box, perfect for gifts or storage.

Inside the bauble you'll find 5 samples of some of Origins famous skincare items. At first glance I was shocked at how small the samples are, especially when the bauble is a nice medium size. However, considering the price, it really is quite fantastic!

The single baubles are £6 and if you buy the set, it costs £10! That's only £1 per sample plus the cute bauble itself and great outer packaging.

The products are as follows:

  • Clear Improvement Active charcoal mask - 7ml
  • Plantscription Anti-aging serum - 7ml
  • Plantscription Anti-aging eye treatment - 5ml
  • Modern Friction Natures' gentle dermabrasion - 5ml
  • GinZing refreshing eye cream - 5ml

I'll be honest - these weren't at the top of my wishlist and I wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't gone to Selfridges to collect them for my lovely friends. I was thinking of passing it on but now I'm thinking, maybe I'll just treat myself to using what I assume is quality skincare.

  • Click here to find a Bauble gift set - £10.
  • If you're feeling flush, they also have 6 Christmas cracker's  that contains a 15ml Anti-Aging serum and a 75ml Ginger Rush Hydrating body cream - £45.

Will you be buying yourself one or gifting it to someone else? What do you think of Origins skincare?

Till next time...Toodles! :)

PS Just for laughs, I thought you may want to see how I wrapped the baubles to make things a bit nicer for my friends. I think it's safe to say, I won't be winning awards any time soon? *cringe*

Times like this I like to say "It's the thought that counts".

I wouldn't buy one I don't think, but would be more than happy to receive one.... ... my tree already has about four times more decorations that it really should have!

  9. Origins is a super awesome skincare brand. I've been using and love their Never a dull moment cleanser and Ginzing eye cream so I'd rate those. This is cute but I'm too lazy to go to Selfridges to get one, haha. ;p
